Welcome to our
Thank you for joining and coming on board at Oakwood.
Here is some information which you should find useful in getting set up and familiar with our club.
8 Week Plan and Starter Session
We include an 8-week plan for all new members. This is a great way to get going, learn how to use equipment in the gym, get set up on the eGYM equipment and get some advice and recommendations with group classes.
If you did a trial membership before joining you may well have already done the Starter Session (Boditrax and eGYM set up). If so you'll be offered a further 30-min session when joining to freshen things up.
If you didn't do a trial membership before joining then we'll encourage you to book the full 45 minute session as soon as possible. You won't be able to use the eGYM equipment (which is brilliant) until you've done the Starter Session.

Classes - booking and cancelling
Classes are booked and managed using the ClubLink App. The App will not let you cancel classes with less than four hours notice. If you need to cancel a class at short notice please call reception on 01293 822238.
Member referral programme
We are currently finalising a new member referral programme. Please check back for updates.
In addition to the 8-Week Plan we also offer a Personal Programme appointment. This is 45 mins and the instructor will write you a detailed plan of exercises and demonstrate accordingly, in line with your personal goals. This session can be booked at reception or by telephone on 01293 822238
We have a number of instructors who offer Personal Training at Oakwood. Please enquire by email.
We have two entrances, Balcombe Road and Smallfield Road. Please note following:
During school term:
7.30am-5.00pm: Smallfield Road
5.00pm-10.00pm: Balcombe Road
Note: If driving in during day, please avoid 8.30am-9.05am and 2.30pm-3.15pm due to temporary Covid measures at our neighbouring school. Thank you.
During school holidays and weekends
All hours: Balcombe Road
If you are walking/cycling to Oakwood you can normally access the centre via Balcombe Road entrance at all times using a pathway to the left of the main entrance gates. However this is currently closed due to Covid. We hope it will re-open in the next few months and will keep you posted.
