Member update

Dear members,

We have been back and open again for a month. Could I say a huge thank you to all members, and staff for a huge joint effort in operating and using our club, with the new Covid-safe measures in place.

As the schools are now returning we have a couple of updates, as follows:

Access change from Tuesday 1st September

Vehicle AND pedestrian access:

Monday-Friday, 7.30am-5.00pm: Smallfield Road (need windscreen notice)

Monday-Friday, 5.00pm-10.00pm: Balcombe Road

Saturday-Sunday: Balcombe Road

Please note, the above applies to both vehicle and pedestrian access. There is a footpath which runs from the Balcombe Road entrance through the site, to the sports centre. This will be closed as part of the school's Covid-safe measures (reducing face to face traffic).

Mon-Fri during school hours the gates at the Smallfield Road will be closed during school drop off and pick up times. When gates are closed there will be a supervisor who will let cars in if they have a windscreen sticker. If you will be driving to the centre and require a windscreen notice please see staff at reception.

Classes changes

We will not have access to the indoor spaces for morning classes as the school will require use again. Therefore in weeks commencing 31st August and 7th September some classes will take place on the school playing field (we have another, smaller tent for inclement weather).

From week commencing 14th September we will have a new, changed timetable in place for morning classes and will update GymSync accordingly in coming days.

Morning spin classes

We will be moving morning Spin classes outdoors (Mon-Fri mornings), under the tent from Thursday 3rd September. We will be operating on a 'silent-disco' set up to keep music levels low enough for our neighbours. You will therefore need to bring headphones to your spin classes. We will have spare sets available for sale (but not hire due to hygiene). I will send a video out explaining this in more detail over coming days.

Bank Holiday - Monday 31st August

Please note we are open from 8am-1pm on Bank Holiday Monday. Please see GymSync for class availability.

Thank you all for your continued support.
