We are recruiting for a brilliant sales person to come and join our team at Oakwood.
We have worked hard to rebuild our membership since re-opening after Covid 12 months ago. We are now looking to take an exciting next step by bringing a fantastic sales person on board to help us grow further.
With Oakwood being the friendly community-focussed club it is, this is not a position which requires cold-calling and pressured selling! We want someone who can build relationships with prospective members, put people at ease and find a comfortable way for them to take their first steps at our club.
Our marketing activities attract plenty of people interested in starting active, healthy lifestyles. We need someone who can then work with those people through to them taking an action and coming to see us.
We are in the fortunate position of being able to offer flexibility over shifts. We anticipate the role being approximately 20 hours per week, ideally split across two mornings, two evenings and a few weekend hours each week. We are open to discussion on the specific days and times of the shifts and are keen to help make them slot in with other commitments you might have.
Personality-wise, you'll need to be extremely comfortable on the phone (we have a lot of people to call every day), fast and accurate at a keyboard (we email and send text messages) and super-natural in person (you'll be meeting people and showing them around the club).
You do not need a background or any practical experience in fitness. We are looking for an exceptional personality, work-ethic and level of organisation which means you can slot in with a busy small business and just get to it!
