Here at Oakwood we have been running outdoor fresh-air fitness classes since pre-Covid times. Our covered exercise spaces provide a great environment for exercising through the winter months with fresh air circulating freely but the rain being kept out!

Distanced and organised

Our Fitness Garden is marked out with a grid helping customers keep distance and stay safe (max 18 people). Whether you're in a dance, circuits, combat or Pilates class, you'll have enough space to move without feeling uncomfortably close.

Types of classes

We have two outdoor spaces, our "Fitness Garden" (above) and our "Bike Shed" (below).

In the Fitness Garden we have Dance classes such as Dance Fit and Zumba, conditioning classes (Circuits, Body Blitz, Combat, Legs, Bums & Tums), toning classes (Kettlebells, Toning & Abs, Metabolic) and more.

Our Bike Shed is dedicated to brilliant outdoor silent-disco spin classes (20 per week!)

Wrapping up warm

It's been cold since October but we've been accommodating approximately 500 group exercise class visits every week since then! We advise an extra layer (and a hat if you're doing a static class like Pilates) but you'll find that after a few minutes of jumping about you'll be warm and ready to go!

Tours and trials this January

We are currently booking tours (20 mins, flexible times) to come and have a look around our club. You can also buy a two week Club Pass to try us out for only £15 (start any time in Jan).
